I will change the world by raising awareness about the link between mental health and nutrition. The journey to good mental health has many layers, and I truly believe that journey starts in the kitchen. Research shows that food can contribute to the development, prevention, and management of mental health conditions such as depression and anxiety. A healthy mind comes from healthy foods.

“More Than Just Genetics”

Looking at my sister, I don’t just see our parents. In her eyes I don’t just see my dad’s eye color, I see his strength and wisdom. In her eyes I see where my dad is from, and I even see my grandmother. Looking at my sister’s bone structure, I don’t just see my mom. I see my mom’s smile and her poise. Yes, we can all look within our own faces and see where we are from, but it’s more than that. It’s the shapes, lines, and colors that make us who we are.
